In SNCR applications, spray quality and reagent–gas interaction are critical for performance. Design is based on: temperature profile and its variability, residence time and reaction window, gas flow distribution, droplet size, velocity, and evaporation, lance position and orientation. Spray design is the central element of the system.

SNCR systems are designed to ensure: rapid reagent evaporation, uniform distribution in the gas stream, adequate penetration, minimisation of ammonia slip.

Lance configuration and atomisation technology are selected based on actual process conditions.

To manage variable loads and non-uniform temperature profiles, Stilworx SNCR systems can feature multiple injection levels. This enables: operation within the optimal temperature window across the full operating range, greater NOx reduction efficiency, high operational flexibility.
